Those little extras so everyone can enjoy the gardens

We would like you to have the best visit possible, so we have compiled the following information, so you are best informed. Like any outdoor areas, parts of the garden may become muddy after rainfall, so a few areas especially bridges can become slippery in places.

We recognise the National Companion Card and Carer Card.

ACCESS: The Blue Lotus Water Garden is in the Yarra Valley on mostly flat ground with some sloping areas. People with limited mobility may need assistance in some areas.

TRACKS & PATHS: Most are compacted gravel. We recommend visitors using wheelchairs or mobility aids stick to our main tracks which are indicated in Yellow on our Garden Map.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING: We have 6 accessible parking bays located at the front entrance to the gardens.

ACCESSIBLE TOILETS: Located in the gardens are two accessible toilets and one ambulant toilet.

COURTESY WHEELCHAIRS: We have three courtesy wheelchairs available for use. It’s best to call us and reserve one before you visit.

COURTESY UMBRELLAS: We have a limited number of umbrellas visitors can use to keep the sun and rain off you.

PARENTS CHANGING AREA: In one accessible toilet and the ambulant toilet a change table is provided for parents.

FIRST AID: At the ticket counter is our first aid station with defibrillator. Staff trained in first aid are onsite each day.

DRINKING FOUNTAINS: Numerous drinking fountains are located around the gardens.

GARDEN SEATING & SHELTERS: Throughout the gardens there are dozens of shelters and bench style seating providing visitors with plenty of places to stop and rest in the shade.
